Erin Crites is one of our founding members and the current President. She is the mother of one daughter who was one of the inspirations for the creation of the Villages. Erin has a Bachelors Degree in Special Education and is currently studying to become a Clinical Mental Health Counselor at Walden University. Erin and her daughter currently reside outside of Raleigh, but continue to call Elizabeth City home as that’s where she and her daughter both grew up. Based on her own experiences, Erin has a special focus on maternal mental health resources in northeastern North Carolina. The Villages expanded from that vision to encompass all social determinants of health. Erin’s goal with The Villages is to connect communities with the resources needed to live healthy and fulfilling lives.

Jess’ goal with The Villages is to create a community resource closet where community members can freely shop for baby equipment, clothing and gear.
